International concert tours have included visits to: Many European countries, Scandinavia, Australia, America, Canada and China. As well as working as a soloist Chris has extensive experience in working with a number of ensembles:
He has been a member of: Exposé, Suoraan, Trio Krosta, Firebird Ensemble and Music Projects/London
And has appeared with:
Lontano, Ensemble Modern, the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, Ixion, Apartment House and Topologies

From 1986 to 1992 he was the oboe teacher at the International New Music Course in Darmstadt.

Composers who have written for him include:
Michael Finnissy, James Clarke, Roger Redgate, Steve Ingham, Knut Vaage.
